We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing lead the operations of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality client care.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Nursing Service Department consisting of an ADON, LPNs, RNs, and QMAs.
Performs intake assessments on all clients, timely and complete medical record documentation.
Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
Develop and implement nursing care plans, staff schedule, and manage staff performance.
Adhere to HIPAA compliance in all communication regarding clients.
Additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
BSN or MSN completed from and accredited school of Nursing.
At least 2 years prior experience as an RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.
Willing to become certified BLS provider obtained within 1 month prior to hire.
Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
Advanced oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation:
